Come learn the beautiful art of calligraphy in this introductory class! You'll learn HOW to make letters, not just copy them, and you'll go home ready to practice with confidence! Workshop is suitable for beginners, or for those who have basic experience.

You'll learn:
-getting started with your nib and ink
-upstrokes and downstrokes
-pressure of letters
-strokes of the lowercase alphabet
-strokes of the uppercase alphabet
-letters to words
-tips and tricks to help you as a beginner

Your ticket includes your starter kit and workbook. You may add a pad of paper at checkout (optional!)

Your instructor:
Carrie Lutke of Sparrow Lettering has been teaching for her whole career, and started Sparrow Lettering in 2016. In 2017, she taught her first calligraphy workshop and hasn't stopped since! She looks forward to guiding you to an understanding of how callligraphy works!
